Energy Storage & Systems

As authorised representatives for Invinity Energy Systems, we bring customers in the Middle East access to utility-grade energy storage beyond lithium.

Modular and scalable, Invinity’s batteries utilise well-established vanadium redox flow technology to store energy in a water-based solution that maintains its capacity, even when subjected to continuous maximum power and depth of discharge cycling. Invinity’s systems are non-flammable and demand minimal maintenance.

Safe

The vanadium electrolyte’s safe and stable chemistry presents a significantly reduced risk profile compared to other battery storage technologies.

Long Life

These batteries can operate in the field for over 25 years, aligning with the lifespan of your renewable assets, offering unlimited cycling and no capacity degradation.

Economical

With its immense throughput and absence of marginal cycling costs, this unit boasts the lowest price per MWh stored and discharged throughout its product lifespan.

Proven

Utilised globally, these flow batteries are employed in all storage applications, whether in front of or behind the meter.

MODULAR UNITY

Designed for turnkey installation, each unit is ready to go out of the factory. Projects use multiple units.

STACKABLE

Designed to double stack, maximising the energy density of the storage system on your site.

FULLY SCALABLE

Multiple units can be grouped together to match specific storage project needs.

Goodbye to Operational Constraints

Utilise your battery without limitations, regardless of its state of charge. With no restrictions on battery cycling under warranty, it provides stacked revenues and safeguards your investment for the future. Over 25 years, its substantial throughput advantage ensures the lowest price per MWh stored or discharged (LCOS) among all storage technologies. In fact, a single VFB will deliver 3.8 times the lifetime throughput of a similarly sized lithium battery.

Enhanced Operational Robustness

With the rising threat of power interruptions in various regions, businesses and public sector entities are turning to micro-grids (compact local networks capable of autonomous operation) to maintain service continuity during blackouts. Invinity’s utility-grade storage solutions offer the high-cycling, long-duration, and rapid-response capabilities required to energise a micro-grid when primary generation is down or inaccessible.

  • Suitable for grid-tied or completely off-grid functionality
  • Demonstrated rapid response time of 110 milliseconds
  • Flexible dispatch options
  • Fire safe

Secure and Reliable Chemistry

The inherent stability of Invinity’s flow batteries, based on vanadium technology, significantly reduces the risk of fires and fire-related incidents. Independent tests conducted to the UL9540A standard confirm conclusively that they are not susceptible to thermal runaway. VFBs are chemically and thermally resilient, remaining safe even when subjected to external fires.

  • No risk of thermal runaway
  • No emission of chlorine gas
  • No risk of thermal incidents due to short circuits
